KMBA receives IC Award

KASAGANA-KA Mutual Benefit Associationwas cited by the Insurance Commission as 11th among insurance companies and mutual benefit associations in the “2019 Insurance Industry ASEAN Corporate Scorecard (ACGS) Assessment by the Institute of Corporate Directors.” KMBA’s partner group, CARD (Center for Agriculture and Rural Development)MBA was recognized as the 6th. Plaques of recognition were given during IC’s 71st anniversary celebration held on 28 January 2020 at the Philippine International Convention Center.

KMBA General Manager Silvida Reyes-Antiquera and Board of Trustees President Enriqueta V. Navarroreceived the plaque from IC officials and Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea, who was also the occasion’s guest of honor and speaker.Other officers and members of RIMANSI Mi-MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP) also attended the IC celebration, which also included the launching of a microinsurance corner in IC’s website and the signing of a memorandum of understanding on a Philippine catastrophe insurance facility.
