KMBA’s Board of Trustees looks forward to scaling up its operations in 2024. Among the targets set by the Board are the following:
- Maintaining the basic products’ benefits, along with 50,000 enrollments for K-Bente; and in connection with K-Dakila, adding RMSI to the existing list of KMBA partners;
- Increasing total membership to 65,000, including the recruitment of additional 7,000 associate members;
- Reaching digitalization of at least 70% of 2023 policy holders’ data and uploading these to the KMBA Koins system;
- Maintaining the 8-to-24-hour claims settlement upon receipt of completed documents, partly through 100 percent compliance and training or retraining of area coordinators on rules of processing claims;
- Forging partnerships with at least two consortium groups, and launching microinsurance awareness campaign among other organized groups such as small transport groups and community-based groups.
- Developing full integration of database management system with other systems via API and digital platform (KMBA-Microsite-KMBA); Developing two additional modules for new products; Collaborating with Actuarial and Audit for IFRS 17 integration/development; Strict monitoring of security measures;
- Strengthening leadership competencies of KMBA staff and Board members through mandatory training and offering other opportunities related to capability development; and
- Applying for KMBA Koins copyright from the IPOPHL and scheduling the conduct of impact assessment for IFRS 17 in June with actuarial consultants, in adherence to SEGURO, in addition to on-time submission of ACGR not later than 31 May 31, 2024; and
- Active participation in MiMAP and ICMIF activities.
